Environment Day at Children 1st @ Birstall

For World Environment Day, the children took to the great outdoors collecting natural objects from the garden and talking about them during circle time.

After a leaf hunt where the children collected leaves of all shapes and sizes, everyone was busy and using them to make leaf print pictures.

The children enjoyed watching a short video which enabled then to discover more about important natural features in their environment.
