Fabulous Beach Day at Children 1st @ Newark
After talking about holidays and what makes them special, we decided to have our own ‘Beach Day.’
The beach was created so that there were plenty of activities with which the children could engage. The soft golden sand invited the children to play with buckets and spades whilst the colourful range of inflatables caused so much excitement.
“I can build the biggest sandcastle,” said Ava.
The children loved running through the sprinkler and going fishing in our very own boat.
All this was hot work, so the children cooled off and relaxed on their beach with an ice cream from our very own ice-cream truck which we had created earlier. The children loved serving refreshments to their friends.
After all this fun the children had built up an appetite, so it was time for a seaside themed lunch.
“I have sausage and ice cream when I go to the beach,” said Louie.
With a delicious lunch enjoyed by all, it was time for a game of beach ball as our fabulous beach day continued.
