Fabulous Frittatas at Children 1st @ Chesterfield Royal Hospital
Here’s a great food idea from Chesterfield and one that went down a treat with the children.
To celebrate International Food Day our early years children made some individual vegetable frittatas, watched over by Mr Harvey Bear. This involved some careful cutting of the vegetables and the careful breaking and mixing of eggs to pour over them in the patty tins. The children concentrated really hard whilst doing this. Making the frittatas gave the children the opportunity to discuss which foods were healthy and where different foods came from.
These delicious frittatas were quick to make and made for a healthy snack which everyone enjoyed. No wonder Mr Harvey was very impressed! Well done everyone.
