Fun in the Sun at Children 1st @ Bilborough
The children always have a wonderful time playing and learning in our beautiful outdoor space here at Bilborough.
Continuing their learning of lifecycles, they have played in frog spawn made from jelly and chia seeds and been learning new key words and using descriptive language.
They’ve been exploring the number ducks recognising numerals and exploring musical instruments playing them in a range of ways creating loud and soft noises.
A visit to the village shops is always popular! Here the children use their imaginations as they do their shopping before hopping back on their bikes to ride home and make lunch in the outdoor kitchen!
Elsewhere, they worked as a team to create a giant sand pit for them to explore with a range of senses, feeling the sand between their toes. They delighted at playing in scented water and created huge paintings using a ball to make marks.
And as always as Spring comes along, there are gardens to be planted and the wonders of nature to observe.
So much fun and always so many stimulating experiences to enjoy with friends in our dedicated outdoor learning areas!
