Germ Investigations at Children 1st @ Derby Road

Our early years children have been investigating how far germs can travel if we don’t wash our hands properly.

Miss Michelle painted her hands and then carried on with the activities touching different objects leaving behind a green (germ) hand print.  The children then looked to see where the germs had gone. They were everywhere!!!

The children then painted their own hands and looked where their green prints were left. We explained to the children that the green prints show us how germs travel around the nursery and that to reduce their spread we must wash our hands thoroughly.
