Graduation Bag Reveal at Children 1st @ Toton
The children have been busy making items for their graduation bags. They made special hand print key rings, sewed their names on a bookmark and created a special portrait reflecting on things they love and will miss about their nursery. As a surprise the staff added items such as bottles of bubbles, glowsticks, jitter glitter, sweets and a graduation photo.
The staff also enclosed a special growing pack of ‘Forget Me Not’ flowers so the children could grow a plant in their garden to remember their friends and staff at nursery. Miss Olga baked the most beautiful rainbow cakes too which were very yummy!
Last week we finally revealed the goodie bags containing their hand made items and the staff surprises. The children loved opening their bags and sharing memories and photos from throughout their journey at nursery together.
We even held a special bag collection for those who have already left nursery ready for school in September, which gave the children the opportunity to be greeted outside the nursery by a member of staff to receive their bag. They were able to wave goodbye to their friends and staff through the window.
Best of luck to all our graduates and thank-you to their families for their kind support over the years. We will miss you all!
