Happy 20th Birthday to Children 1st @ Newark

The heavy weekend rain didn’t dampen our spirits as we gathered together for  our special 20th birthday celebration and to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

The magical unicorn ponies braved the weather and were a great hit with the children. Mr Harvey, the Children 1st healthy eating mascot popped in to share the fun and loved the special birthday cake we had made and the wonderful singing of ‘Happy Birthday!’

The day ended with party games which included musical statues and a piñata. It was lovely to see everyone sharing their best dance moves.

Whilst having all this fun we were able to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity which, to mark 30 years of Children 1st Day Nurseries, will be match funded by head office. The charity raises money to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre which pioneers the very latest in cancer treatments and technologies and provides specialist care for people of all ages.
