Happy Birthday NHS from Children 1st @ Clowne and Wragby Road
We had a wonderful time at Clowne and Wragby Road, celebrating our amazing NHS which this week is 75 years old.
At Wragby Road, the Early Years talked about the important jobs that doctors and nurses do and how they help make us better. The children painted a lovely rainbow to say ‘thank-you’ and made some heart shaped shortbread biscuits to celebrate the NHS! They also took photos of some of their parents who work for the NHS.
The children at Clowne had a special visit from Charlotte’s Mummy who is a nurse. She told the children all about the NHS and what important jobs she does at the hospital.
The children had such a good time role playing medical staff, using the bandages and making their notes! They had so many important questions to ask Charlotte‘s Mummy!
We have many families at our nurseries who work for the NHS in a variety of roles. We would like to say a very big THANK-YOU to all our NHS heroes for the work they do. It is truly appreciated by everyone.
