Jack and the Flumflum Tree at Children 1st @ Main Street

To celebrate World Book Day 2021 the Peter Rabbits’ at Main Street enjoyed discovering what was in their story book tuff tray.

The staff  decided to theme the tray to one of the children’s favourite stories ‘Jack and Flumflum Tree’ by Julia Donaldson. This book tells of the exciting adventures undertaken by Jack to find the fruit which will cure his granny’s illness.

The children were delighted to join in with story time at the tuff tray, learning and retelling the story through objects and actions.
Mr Kal loved reading the story to the children who cleverly found the objects as they occurred in the story.

Wow! What a fun way to explore one of our favourite stories!
