Land Ahoy! Pirates and Beaches at Children 1st @ Derby Road

The pirates at Derby Road put on their favourite outfits, built their pirate ship and set sail to discover new lands and treasure. This was a fantastic pirate day which with songs and pirates talk was great fun. To round off our adventures, the pirates tucked into their picnic tea.

Thanks to all our parents who provided the costumes. The children looked amazing and being dressed-up helped them to get into their role as pirates.

The Peter Rabbits took to the beach to enjoy a walk which prompted laughs and giggles as the children felt the different textures through their feet. From golden sand to the warm sea there was plenty to explore. What better way to end a day on the beach with a fluffy ice-cream! No wonder we like to be beside the seaside!
