Life’s a Beach at Children 1st @ Newark Town

We’re ready for Summer here at Newark Town and so we decided to have our own Beach Day!

From building sandcastles, to paddling in pools and playing with the sprinklers and finding out about the creatures of the seashore, we’ve been having a whale of a time.

Our fantastic fun filled beach day gave us the opportunity to talk about sun safety and water safety but then it was back to the beach for ice creams and splashes!

Beach Day was so much fun that we decided to keep it open for a couple of weeks, so we’ve got plenty of seaside fun to look forward to.

The Early Years added to their beach experience by visiting the Newark on Sea installation in the marketplace. With more sandcastle building, digging in the sand, singing, and dancing, this experience provided some lovely summer fun and brought smiles to all our faces. The children loved sitting on the stripey deckchairs, and the ice creams went down a treat!
