Mad Hatter Day at Children 1st @ Acorns Upper Tean
To celebrate National Mad Hatter Day, the children were invited to come into nursery wearing hats that they had made at home. Although this celebration originated in America, we thought it sounded like fun and, as well as dressing in our fancy hats, it gave us the opportunity to talk about Alice’s many adventures in Wonderland. Author, Lewis Carroll would have loved all the laughter we had!
We were all super impressed with the hat making efforts and we loved seeing the crazy creations! Our chef Sam also made some delicious scones to have, just like the ones Alice enjoyed at the Mad Hatter’s tea party!
