Messy Times and a Robot Rumpus at Children 1st @ Bilborough
What a Robot Rumpus in Peter Rabbits! Don’t be alarmed, it’s all part of our ‘Space’ topic which the children are really enjoying.
The Peter Rabbits had such an exciting day creating their own robots. They were encouraged to use a range of media and materials and to let their imaginations run wild.
They travelled around the room like robots and spoke using a magical robot dialect.
This great day was inspired by the story ‘Robot Rumpus’ written by Sean Taylor.
Meanwhile the younger children were discovering just how awesome messy play can be!
Messy play allows our babies to build, imagine, experience, investigate, explore, create, observe and to use their senses.
Messy play gives our children freedom, it is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. It’s something our children have the opportunity to experience in a range of ways every day! No wonder we love messy play at Bilborough.
