Poppies for Remembrance at Children 1st @ Toton

Ahead of Remembrance Day, the children at Toton have all painted their own poppy pictures and have used them to decorate the nursery gates and fences to show our respect to the service men and women who work so hard on our behalf. As well as immersing themselves in the painting, the activity provided the opportunity to talk with the children about the reasons for Remembrance Day and the significance of the poppies.

The display showing poppies of all shapes and sizes makes an eye-catching display which is very impactful and really stands out for passers-by to share.
