Pumpkin Fun at Children 1st Nurseries - Children 1st Day Nurseries

Pumpkin Fun at Children 1st Nurseries

What brilliant ‘Black Cat and Pumpkins Days’ we have enjoyed across our nurseries!

Exploration of pumpkins was the theme of the day at many of our nurseries as the children got involved with carving, scooping out the slimy seeds, playing with the gooey insides, making decorations, painting them and just enjoying the sensory experience of touching the smooth skin. At Buckinghams the children were delighted to share with their friends the wonderful pumpkins they had carved at home, whilst at Meir Park, the children had fun going on a pumpkin hunt.

The colour orange was the theme for many activities such as printing and painting, an activity greatly enjoyed by the babies at SPSP.

The spiders were no match for the children at Sheffield as, inspired by the nursery rhyme ‘Incy Wincy Spider’ they washed them out of a giant web using water balloons.

At Clowne, like many of our nurseries, their busy fun filled day ended with a spooky tea-party, games and making lovely end to an action-packed day.

Thank-you to all Children 1st families who so kindly supported our ‘Black Cat and Pumpkin Days.’

Please share our pumpkin fun by looking through the gallery of photographs from our nurseries at Buckinghams, Clowne, Meir Park, Sheffield and St. Peter and St. Paul.
