Remembrance at Children 1st @ Newark
The children in early years at Newark decided to make their own wreath to lay at Newark’s Remembrance Parade in the town centre.
The children got very glittery as they wanted their wreath to stand out at the Cenotaph for all to see. This was an opportunity to talk about the reasons for Remembrance Day and the significance of the poppies.
Miss Imogen ,who is a sea scout, takes part in Newark’s ceremony every year. She met with Ethan, one of our early years, at the Cenotaph so they could proudly lay our wreath in front of hundreds of Newark’s residents.
Well done to the early years for creating such a beautiful wreath.
