Room on the Broom at Children 1st @ Rosemary Lane

The Peter Rabbits have loved exploring the story of the month ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson in different sensory ways.

The children had so much fun helping the witch create special potions to pour into the cauldron to help fix her broomstick. Firstly, they filled out their potion slips using a range of colourful marks. They then got creative using a range of colourful glitter, pipe cleaners and googly eyes to put in their bottles. Individually they poured their very own potion into the cauldron.

Everyone hovered over the cauldron to see the fizzing mixture, but it was “too hot” to touch, so we had to be very careful! We had the best time making our potions to help the witch from the story. Great work Peter Rabbits!
