Scarecrow Faces at Children 1st @ Hathern

The early years children have been learning all about why and how harvest festivals are celebrated and enjoying so many different activities.

One of their favourites was working with Miss Lucy to make edible scarecrow faces using different vegetables. The children were encouraged to carefully cut up the vegetables themselves. They used their different senses to look, smell and taste. They then had even more fun eating the end result!
