Sid the Scarecrow at Children 1st @ Plumtree

The Early Years children had such fun making their own scarecrow which they decided to call ‘Sid’. They used hay to stuff his body, drew his face on a paper bag and found some smart red trainers to keep his feet dry. After all, Sid had an important job to do keeping the birds off our pumpkin patch. The children placed him perfectly in our allotment where we’re sure he’ll do a great job. Meanwhile the Bobtails have been busy in their sensory tuff spot exploring a harvest of Autumn goodies. They had such fun handling a range of objects, materials, and textures, as well as having a good time with their friends.
