So Much Going on at Children 1st @ Buckinghams
We’ve got a spring in our steps here with so much going on across our nursery.
The Early Years have been using their making skills to create binoculars using a range of junk. They discussed the different materials they were using and showed great curiosity when sticking down the textured feathers. After making their binoculars they then tried them out, looking through the window to see if they could spot any birds. They then ventured outside and explored the garden, looking up at the sky, trees, and our beautiful environment!
The Bobtails have been dressing up using a variety of hats! They loved posing for the camera and showing off their groovy moves to music!
The Peter Rabbits have been learning about their senses, using touch and sight as they played with the ice and the arctic animals. This experience enabled them to learn new words such as ice, arctic and cold.
Buckinghams’ superheroes, Miss Pip and Mr Andy who provide our lovely food and get involved in what’s happening in the nursery have done themselves proud and received much deserved recognition for their high standards, by being awarded the top rating of 5 stars on their latest Food Hygiene Certificate. Congratulations to you both!
