So Much Going On at Children 1st @ Meir Park
Our Early Years are always busy and are very fortunate to have some special visitors to help them find out about the world in which they live.
The Police very kindly came to talk to the children about their role in our community and how they help to keep us safe. They brought in an extra special guest, Bobby the Police car! Bobby was a hit with the children especially as he flashed his lights and sounded his siren. They loved trying on the Police Officers’ hats!
The next guest we had was Mr Chips the hedgehog. The Baddeley Green Hedgehog Rescue Centre came in to share with the children how they help to save poorly hedgehogs in the wild and discussed ways we can help at home. Mr Chips was very friendly and came out of his ball to say hello. Anyone wishing to support the Hedgehog Rescue Centre is welcome to bring in some cat biscuits or cat food in jelly to donate.
Thank-you to our special visitors who have visited us recently and gave us so much to talk about.
Busy times continued with our Halloween activities and our exploration of the wonder of Autumn.
We hope you enjoy looking through our photos.
