Space Day at Children 1st @ Oakwood

Across the nursery we had a fantastic Space Day which took us to infinity and beyond!

The Puddleducks had a sensory experience with shiny objects and water play with sparkles!

In Bobtails we had a lovely experience creating and making our own glittery playdough which the children loved making into different shapes. They also had fun exploring the shaving foam with paintbrushes.

Our Benjamin Bunnies had a great time reading our story of the month ‘Whatever Next!’ by Jill Murphy. They re-enacted the story, dressed up and used kitchen equipment to aid their play.

The Peter Rabbits had an awesome time using their skills to mix, roll and cut out their own space dough. They learned new words about our planets and the things that make them special!

Finally, the children of Early Years enjoyed being super creative with their outfits within their play. They discovered lots of facts about the planets, and even went on an adventure to the moon!
