Summer Fair at Children 1st @ Plumtree
Children, staff, parents and friends came together to enjoy all the fun of Plumtree’s Summer Fair. With pony rides, face-painting and an array of colourful stalls there was plenty for all ages to enjoy.
The Summer Fair was held as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of Children 1st and also to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Thank-you to everyone who came along and helped our fund raising efforts for the charity which pioneers the latest in cancer treatments and provides outstanding care for patients and their families. Special thanks go to the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service who brought along a shiny red engine, much to the delight of the children!
The amount raised is still being finalised but we’ll confirm this at a later date when we present a cheque to The Royal Marsden.
