Supertato! at Children 1st @ Bilborough

Our book of the week at Bilborough is the very popular, wacky picture book, Supertato by Paul Linnet and Sue Hendra. The book tells the story of how a spud fulfills his destiny as a supermarket superhero with eyes everywhere—always on the lookout for danger! However, now there’s a pea on the loose, a very, very naughty pea!

The Peter Rabbits have enjoyed sharing the story and, inspired by the adventures of Supertato, they have taken part in a variety of different activities.

One group enjoyed painting and sticking their own Supertato, using different coloured paint and masks.

Another group had lots of fun using all of our different resources to try and make ‘The Evil Pea’ out of green playdough, and using buttons for his eyes.

Lastly the children were spoilt by being able to use green icing and icing pens to once again try and make their very own ‘Evil Pea’ biscuit! Great work everyone!
