Tactile Fun at Children 1st @ Buckinghams

Our under 2s have been finding out about farm animals, learning animal names and their sounds. They also experienced the texture of hay and showed so much excitement when throwing it up into the air. Such fun!

They went on to use the cloud dough made by Miss Emily which was a lovely tactile experience.  The children used their senses of touch and smell when exploring the texture of the dough and discovering what they could do with it.  After using just their hands to kneed, shape and prod the dough, the activity was extended by giving the children an assortment of utensils with which to manipulate the cloud dough.
