The Fun of Slime at Children 1st @ Sheffield
| Our Bobtails children have been busy playing with the oobleck in the creative area today. Oobleck is made from a mixture of cornflour and water to which food colouring can be added. It’s a great material for the children to handle because it can behave as a solid and a liquid.
The Bobtails explored the colourful oobleck using ice cream spoons to scoop it up and pour it out. They also used their hands and loved watching the gloop slide between their fingers. The children also described the different textures as it went from hard to soft calling it ‘slimey.’ |
