The Glorious Outdoors at Children 1st @ Oakwood

Our Early Years children have taken full advantage of the glorious weather and have been outside all week.

We’ve been making wigwams in the forest, going on nature walks looking for flowers and cooling off with a paddle in the stream.  Bare foot walking was a ticklish experience, whilst the obstacle course was so much fun. Whether finding bees or making a tiny fairy garden, no wonder we all love the glorious outdoors here at Oakwood.

All these activities have helped us to focus on the children’s independence, perseverance and teamwork!
