The Gruffalo and More at Children 1st @ Oakwood, Derby

World Book Day 2021 at Oakwood got off to a fantastic start today with all the children proudly arriving in their array of costumes!

The staff team had a little treat for the children. In our bubbles we sat in the garden together whilst the staff acted out one of the children’s favourite stories – Julia Donaldson’s Gruffalo! It was true Panto style with lots of joining in from the children and we even had Miss Jacqui setting the scene with the music on the guitar!
Then it was time to head back inside to enjoy more World Book Day fun.
