Time for Fun at Children 1st @ The Marina
Our Superhero Day was so much fun. The Peter Rabbits and Early Years loved showing their friends and keyworkers their amazing costumes. They used their magical superpowers all day long as we enjoyed so many adventures.
The Jemima Puddleduck’s have also been having fun exploring the cinnamon shaving foam, glittery cinnamon water, ducks, frogs, soft blocks, and pots. The children loved feeling the sensory textures and emptying and filling using the pots.
Lots of language was encouraged throughout the activity and the children were able to copy the words duck, frog, quack, gone, splat, splash, uh-oh!
Bobtails have been busy making sensory bottles. We encouraged the children to make their own choice of sensory materials to put into the bottles such as wooden sticks, poms poms and feathers. The Bobtails have been using their motor skills and developing new language such as, wow, look, and pom pom.
