Transport Galore at Children 1st @ Clowne

Our recent focus on ‘Travel and Transport’ resulted in a really fun-filled week.

Highlights of the week included a special visit from Archer’s daddy who brought his big green tractor and James’ daddy who brought his super speedy motorbike for us all to see! Sincere thanks go to both parents who really helped to add meaning to our transport topic by bringing these magnificent machines to nursery and giving the children such valuable first hand experience.

During our special visits the children loved asking questions about these two marvellous vehicles and enjoyed sitting inside the tractor and on the motorbike as they learnt all about the various buttons and how fast and slow they both go when they travel on the roads.

Further fun came when the children made green marks whist riding their trikes across the paper!

As the photos show, just the immense size of the vehicles impressed the children, especially the tractor which seemed to be enormous! We hope you enjoy looking through the gallery.
