Working Together at Children 1st @ Derby Road

Teamwork made the dream work at Derby Road when the children were given a box of wooden items to explore, and no instructions of what to do!

The children worked together to great effect, first talking things through, and then making up a game. They gave each other parts and made sure everyone was included.

They’ve also been showing off their threading skills, using fine rope and ribbon to thread different patterns on the wooden stands. This was very tricky to do when some of the children had their gloves on, but determination and the children’s persistence allowed them to achieve their threading goal.

The children love investigating and exploring in their outdoor space. Making dens, climbing, jumping, working as a team with friends, there’s is always so much to do.
