World Book Day at Children 1st @ Syston and Plumtree
The children and staff at our nurseries have enjoyed the fun of dressing up as their favourite book characters and sharing stories and rhymes.
At Syston, everyone loved sharing the books which the children had brought in. The children also had lots of fun making up their own stories in the role play area.
At Plumtree the children enjoyed a range of book themed activities. The Early Years enjoyed looking for ‘Where’s Wally,’ playing a ‘Hungry Caterpillar’ game and making their very own ‘Ginger Bread Man’ biscuits.
The older children experienced what it was like to be an author by writing and sharing their own stories.
Thank-you to all our parents and carers at both nurseries for providing the amazing outfits which had everyone talking about story book characters and to all the staff who dressed up for World Book Day.
