World First Aid Day at Children 1st @ Plumtree

To celebrate World First Aid Day, our Early Years children at Plumtree loved having a special visitor who has taught us all about primary first aid!

Our fantastic Head of Training and Development, Miss Kate, joined us to introduce the children to a range of first aid practices. She taught us how to apply bandages, the number to call in an emergency, how to use a foil blanket, how to place people in the recovery position and much much more!

Our children all loved taking part and taking turns at being placed in the recovery position. For the final activity, we took it in turns to apply bandages!  As the photos show, this needs a little more work!

What a brilliant day we’ve had!
