WOW! Time at Children 1st @ Syston

Over the past couple of weeks our children have been exploring some of our WOW! activities and sensory opportunities.

These have linked in with our themes such as fantasy where the children had lots of fun making fairy potions and working together using a variety of different resources and ideas. The ‘Dear Zoo’ tuff spot captured their imaginations and provided endless opportunities for the children to explore the story still further.

The younger children enjoyed playing with our sensory bags which were filled with exciting things for them to explore. Also, the sensory baskets filled with interesting textures and materials were a hit with our babies. As the photos show, they loved peeping through the chiffon scarves fronting their little den.

Everyone has had a great time exploring our WOW! activities and the staff have been delighted to see the children’s reactions to the experiences.
